Nais sp.; anterior part that is covered by the peritrich ciliates (Rhabdostyla inclinans). This oligochaete is infested by three parasites: the arrowhead points to one of several specimens of the rotifer Cephalodella parasitica. The arrow points to the rotifer Albertia naidis which lives as endoparsite in the intestinum of Nais. (3) |
